Stank Ledge

Stank Ledge

This spot is great, it just smells like garbage. I bet for many of you that your own foul odour will overpower the garbage smell, so in that case it smells just fine. Just a chill session after the Meltdown game of SKATE, with Grant Patterson, Ben Locke, Josh Cowan and  Scott Varney.

Check out some of their sponsors, you can even play a fun game with yourself and guess who rides for who

Hang loose branch, a 180 and a hippy

josh and hippy greg

Doesn’t that branch on Josh Cowan’s back look like Pinnochio throwing the ol’ ‘hang loose’ sign? Josh keeps it real F!@#@#N STREET with a front 180, and Greg Vandermey keeps it hippy with, well, a hippy jump.

How do you hide money from a hippy?

Answer is somewhere deep in this GWAR song.

Pussyclat?

joshi-almost

Joshi probably doesn’t want me to put this up due to the heavy casing on the front shuv, but it’s still pretty gnarly none the less. This thang is hard for most to ollie, let alone a switch front shuv across the whole business.

PS, for the record, we’re all completely aware that josh not any type of pussyclat, rasclat, or bumbaclat for that matter. BRRRRRRAP.

Dork Trick Tips-joshi-swoon-dog

10 Dork Trick Tips and we’ve barely scratched the surface of the ridiculousness that is skateboarding. Here’s Josh Cowan with the Swoon Dog, probably my favourite name for a trick ever. SWOOOOON DOOOOOGGGGG.

Ghetto-est Pole Jams on the Planet? Yup.

Ghetto-est Pole Jams

Josh Cowan can and will skate anything…especially if you give him a dollar, or a smoke, or a dollar that has dribbles of tobacco juice on it so he can roll it up, burn it, and use it like classy street urchin’s incense.

Happy New Year and thanks for checking the site, December 2009 was our busiest month ever!

The New Speakers Corner

speakers-corner-sans-bogans

Downtown Kitchener has a new speakers corner, which means, there’s guaranteed to be dirt rock bogans running their mouth off at pretty much any time of day. There’s also a little powerslidey pyramid thing to get fresh with. Here’s Josh Cowan and Greg Vandermey testing it out. Check out Richie G’s blog here for the bogan footage.

Joshi Wally

Joshi_Wally_Parkfootageiscooluhater

Josh Cowan is wallying his life away. I think he’s good enough to get on Sneaux Shoes. They actually have a large range of infant “skate” shoes. If Josh gets sponsored by them I’d get him to give me a crate of those infant shoes. I’d tie em together, and throw them up on random overhead electric wires all over the city. People would think there were tons of new infant drug dealers taking over.

Blurry Scatman Dr Chim feat. Joshi & Great Scott

mississauga-scatman

The bluriness is purely for artistic purposes. Obviously it didn’t work. Scatting by Richie G aka Dr Chim, with backup vocals and skateboarding by Josh Cowan and Matt Scott respectively.

Manny, but no Tranny

Josh Cowan Manny No Tranny

Although the graphic contains no skater in it, I assure you that Josh Cowan will appear the second you click the link above you. PS if you’re in uptown Waterloo in Ontario Canada, this spot now has 2 flatbars. Yes, the city put up 2 flatbars even though in 2 weeks there’s a city council meeting to decide if skaters will be allowed at the plaza. Guhhhhhhhhh.
