Uptown looks kind of ghetto in 2001
Some more Gutmien Peters in Waterloo, in the olden days. I’m going to have to take a trip to the Windsor/Detroit area soon so I can get some footage of DP that’s not shot on a hi8 camera.

Kitchener skatepark, circa 2001? Damien is spending a bit too much time on his bike instead of his board lately, but that’s ok because he’s one of those cats that learns a trick once and then just has it on lock for life. Damien’s probably eating a 7 layer halva right now and contemplating what switch tailslide heelflip variation he’s going to use as his ender in the next Canvas Skateboards video. Right D? ;P
This was filmed by our boy DJ Sal, who teaches Chinese teens geography in between throwing reggae parties in Shanghai.

Byron Ready is in Spain, but the day before he took off we were able to weasel a dork trick tip out of him. It’s called the Ollie North to the Extreme, also known as the Byrone Olson. Damien Peters came up with the ‘other’ name. If you see Damien you should probably thank him in person for coming up with the dopest DTT names ever. Remember Tyrone Olson? Count the lipslides in this part from 1995 if you got nothing better to do.

FINALLY! It took a while, but I finally caught up with the one and only Damien Peters. I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve had a clip of him on the site…hopefully there will be plenty more in the future. Damien shares the secret of the NHBV aka Nollie Heelflip Body Varial, which from now on will be called the Shitty Whippy. Tell your friends.
Arthur Sousa and the crew at Canvas Skateboards have a new site, so stop juggling your nards with both hands and at least use one hand to pilot your mouse over the above link.
