Nash and Josh

SOTI is hosting a big ol contest slash demo this weekend, and by hosting, I mean I’ll be drinking spiced rum and yelling stuff into a microphone while mocking my friends as the break themselves on various obstacles strewn throughout this epic, epic park of skateboarding. We had a great time last time when Mr. Jereme Rogers came out to play, and this time it’s the Canvas Skateboard Team and friends doing the demo. Here’s just a little clip of local Nashdawg doing his usual commentary while Joshi Cowan does stuff he can do with his eyes closed.

Check out the poster boy! Yup, it’s SPC and recentlyfamouscosofasmithphotoinSBCmag, Colton Blight. I don’t know who the biker is, but that is some SERIOUS doubles.

Sorry about the lack of updates, but we’ve been filming a ton for the new Canvas Video among other thangs. So many goods clips ready to throw up, and of course the NEW version of the site should be ready to go now that the world cup is almost over (don’t expect Brazilian web designers to do much during the cup season…)

I can hardly believe it, but this was filmed in February aka a proverbial opium whore of a wintery month. Of course we got dumped on with a few feet of snow the next week, but at least the lovely March we’ve had has already made up for that. In like a lamb, out like a roasted lamb? We can only hope…cross your fingers…

Colton’s got a part coming out in the new Canvas Skateboards video…to be released in 2010 some time. This is some of his old stuff that he’s generously let me put up.

Get this man some more f#$%@#%n sponsors! I told Colton if he doesn’t get more sponsors by the end of the year, I’m going to start a new company just to sponsor him. It’s called Bull Sack. It’s a backpack made from the soft scrotum fur of bulls, made for carrying your energy drinks in.
