Some of the Canvas Skateboards guys and I were invited to the Picton Skatepark grand opening to do a demo, and Mr Jereme Rogers aka Sherm and now known as JR was throwing down a one man demo for his new board company, Selfish Skateboards. This is just a taste, tons more footage as well as an interview with Sherm himself. Rogers’ Back?!?!?

Despite all the message board hate about face tats and whisper rap, JR is still making music and is definitely still killing it on a skateboard.

Stank Ledge

This spot is great, it just smells like garbage. I bet for many of you that your own foul odour will overpower the garbage smell, so in that case it smells just fine. Just a chill session after the Meltdown game of SKATE, with Grant Patterson, Ben Locke, Josh Cowan and  Scott Varney.

So many goods clips ready to throw up, and of course the NEW version of the site should be ready to go now that the world cup is almost over (don’t expect Brazilian web designers to do much during the cup season…)

Kitchener skatepark, circa 2001? Damien is spending a bit too much time on his bike instead of his board lately, but that’s ok because he’s one of those cats that learns a trick once and then just has it on lock for life. Damien’s probably eating a 7 layer halva right now and contemplating what switch tailslide heelflip variation he’s going to use as his ender in the next Canvas Skateboards video. Right D? ;P

This was filmed by our boy DJ Sal, who teaches Chinese teens geography in between throwing reggae parties in Shanghai.

I can hardly believe it, but this was filmed in February aka a proverbial opium whore of a wintery month. Of course we got dumped on with a few feet of snow the next week, but at least the lovely March we’ve had has already made up for that. In like a lamb, out like a roasted lamb? We can only hope…cross your fingers…
