Conestoga Connected is a TV show on Rogers that is created by Conestoga College Students. I have the pleasure of teaching this class and acting as executive producer of the show.
One of the guests bailed so we had our friend Mr Colton “SPC” Blight come in to do a little skateboard lesson

Here’s the promo for the video we’ve been working on over the past year and a bit, titled “Blowing It.” Features many local skaters from the K-W/Woodstock region as well as full parts from: Tamas Katona, Jake Benjamin, Nick Langdon and Ben Buchenauer. Premieres at Sanction Waterloo (160 University Ave W.) on March 24th at 7pm.

Recognizing when someone is motivated and being able to feed off of it feels awesome, especially when it’s one of the homies. Mack and I had a good three-day streak of exploring, skating and causing a ruckus in peoples’ front yards. Little did Mack know that after finding said spots and getting rad photos he’d have lazy ass skaters blowing up his phone, “Yo! Where are those spots at?”

There was a brief moment in time where I tried doing a blog focussed around skateboarding in the 519 area but alas, lazy contributors make for shitty content. Fast forward to 2012, Pancer saw through my laziness and decided to give me the keys to the SOTI blog. Lucky for you suckers I’ll actually be updating this blog with photo content and by the sounds of it, we’ve got some *motivated local shredders ready to lay the hurt down on 2012. If you’re ever in Downtown Kitchener, go the back of city and look at the set of stairs that Pat Shannon ollied. Try not to soil yourself…..also starring in#6 is Kody Thompson, Josh Cowan, Canvas Skateboards boss Arthur Sousa and Matt Scott. Yeah this footage is old, but so’s your mom and we still enjoy watching her.
