Byron Ready is in Spain, but the day before he took off we were able to weasel a dork trick tip out of him. It’s called the Ollie North to the Extreme, also known as the Byrone Olson. Damien Peters came up with the ‘other’ name. If you see Damien you should probably thank him in person for coming up with the dopest DTT names ever. Remember Tyrone Olson? Count the lipslides in this part from 1995 if you got nothing better to do.

FINALLY! It took a while, but I finally caught up with the one and only Damien Peters. I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve had a clip of him on the site…hopefully there will be plenty more in the future. Damien shares the secret of the NHBV aka Nollie Heelflip Body Varial, which from now on will be called the Shitty Whippy. Tell your friends.

I do know one guy who actually makes the finger flip look good by doing them in huge bowls, the Action Ape himself Mr. Kurt Nischel. First thing on the list when I go back to Australia is to document this gnar-ness. Kurt also illustrates and designs graphics for skateboards, snowboards, and all kinds of other goods. So there seems to be a lot of talk about what is and what isn’t a dork trick nowadays…. I guarantee you 10 years ago if you did an airwalk, you would get beat down by thugs wearing Osiris D3′s. Now, it seems they’re in style again and I have to agree that it’s a pretty gnarly trick, especially when dudes like Lizard King do them down Wallenberg in San Francisco. So maybe it’s a dork trick, maybe it isn’t, either way my friend from China will show you how to do them down the 3 set at Love Park in Shanghai.

Why my trucks are so squeaky?
The first in a long series of useless tricks that impress no one. You will especially not get any chicks if you do these radical manouvers in public. Big up to Jeff Lamers for his first ass focus attempt. He didn’t get any spinal damage.
