One of the many fine parks of the Gold coast, Runaway Bay is somehow overrun with filthy disease ridden scooter kids. Kurt Nischel scares them away with pure gnar-ness and sends them back into their jungle lairs. Kurt is a graphic designer, tree surgeon, professional downhill skateboarder, and also recently invented the “watermelon helmet” at a recent hard liquor pool party. This handrail is terrible. It’s high, on a busy street, it needs a wood landing, and you have to get up a curb before you hit it.It sucks. But, on the Gold Coast you sometimes have to work a little harder to skate those non played out spots.
