Dr. Chim Richalds nosehair extractions and beyond

Dr. Chim Richalds nosehair extractions and beyond

Back in Canada and still rolling, although I have to say ROUGH. This footage is from a little trip to the Mississauga park with Dr. Chim Richalds, Josh Cowan, Scott Varney and Matt “Great” Scott. They landed a lot more than I filmed, I was kind of distracted plus Dr. Chim had his camera anyway..so check out their site for the other footy. I’d tell you the URL, but I don’t even know so good luck, skerd.

FLY Mondays #3…The Notorious Be-i-Jing

Jeremy Hu rolling at one of Beijing’s many dope ledge spots. While I was in China I started referring to Beijing as the Notorious Be-i-Jing. If that ever catches on, I will die a happy man. Spread the word.

If you’re in Beijing, you might also want to check out this restaurant for these fine dishes. I especially recommend the Mixed Seafood Iraq Government Office Surface.

Best Board Graphic of 2009.

So I know we’re only half way through the year, but this board graphic is seriously some next level shit. I don’t care what the rest of the year brings, this is officially the number one board. Do you have the cajones to ride it? Probably not, because you’re hella weak. This is on the same level as that “Jew-Lien” Stranger board that came out last year.

Fly Mondays

Johnny Tang and the crew at Fly Skateshop/Gift Skateboards/Cart Wheels in Shanghai are busy filming for their video dropping in October 2009 and they’ve donated some throwaway footage for your viewing pleasure. Because it’s some ill stuff I figure lets make this a weekly thing until the video is done.

Fly Fridays may sound a bit more slick but I really couldn’t be bothered to wait until Friday…so first up is Toronto’s Johnny Tang himself, not to be confused with fellow team rider Johnnie Tang who’s from Hong Kong. Got it? Good.

Shanghai, seen. aka, Update #420.

Kevin Long + a wizard. Photo by SOTI, Wizard by Kevin Long

There’s a lot going on in Shanghai right now, so plenty of updates for your bad self. The Asian X-Games are in town, so I’ve got some good footage of what went down on the street course coming soon, 3 new Dork Trick Tips are on the way, an interview with Johnny Tang is about to go down along with some footage from the FLY skateboard team’s trip to Beijing. Check back on the regular, content is flowing like a bumbaclaat, or perhaps even a rasclaat.

Here’s the results from the Shanghai X-Games Street Finals:

Austen Seaholm USA – 88.00
Fabrizio Santos BRA – 83.67
Carlos de Andrade BRA – 82.67
Juergen Horrwath GER – 82.33
Danilo Do Rosario BRA – 82.00
Dayne Brummet USA – 79.00
Tyler Hendley USA – 78.67
Tomas Vintr CZE – 77.33
Rodolfo Ramos BRA 76.00
Andy Macdonald USA 75.00

Good judging by Dave Duncan and the WCSK8 crew, Austen definitely deserved first, and Andy definitely deserved last…

And why is there a picture of Kevin Long for this long winded update post? Because he’s in Shanghai right now as well and the wizard he drew is f****n sweet.
