The Stickiest of the Icky

Well, SOTI didn’t win, but our entry to Crailtap’s Famous Duos competition made it to the finals….

Literally. My friend and photographer/teacher Evan Nash lives in Seoul, Korea.  He’s been getting his class hyped on skateboarding, and  was able to get the kids to pay their respects to Stickiest of the Icky’s birthday with some art.

Just a reminder the STICKIEST OF THE ICKY 1.7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SKATE JAM is going down this Friday, 9-midnight!

Byron Ready is in Spain, but the day before he took off we were able to weasel a dork trick tip out of him. It’s called the Ollie North to the Extreme, also known as the Byrone Olson. Damien Peters came up with the ‘other’ name. If you see Damien you should probably thank him in person for coming up with the dopest DTT names ever. Remember Tyrone Olson? Count the lipslides in this part from 1995 if you got nothing better to do.

Here’s my former next door neighbour/homie Zac McKay repping the Australian side of Nike SB. Zac is renowned for picking up multiple girls in a week (or 24 hour period), breaking into my house at 5am to say hi and have a toke, and generally killing it on a skateboard when he feels like it.

The FIRST full length skateboard video out of China!~ It just got premiered on December 25th, 2009….so have a look at this bootleg and go and buy it as soon as you can find it in North America. FINALLY! It took a while, but I finally caught up with the one and only Damien Peters. I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve had a clip of him on the site…hopefully there will be plenty more in the future. Damien shares the secret of the NHBV aka Nollie Heelflip Body Varial, which from now on will be called the Shitty Whippy. Tell your friends.
